Realme Band with color display, nine sports mode revealed | UPD: pricing details

The Realme Band fitness tracker has finally been made official in India. It has been priced at Rs. 1,499 with an option to choose from Black, Yellow, and Green color straps. It is available for purchase today itself but that is in limited quantity. Realme will actually start selling it from March 9th via Realme's online store.

Realme’s much-awaited fitness band is set to arrive on March 5th in India but some of its key features have already been revealed by its teaser page. In fact, some of the Indian reviewers have shared the first look of the wearable on their YouTube channel as well. So, while the official launch is still a couple of days away, Realme has very strategically disclosed the details; you can learn the features from the official teaser page and see the first look from reviewers.

Going with what’s available on the official teaser page, the Realme Band will come with nine sports modes – biking, running, walking, hiking, climbing, yoga, fitness, spinning, and even cricket. According to the company, the cricket mode has been tailored especially for the Indian users who are too fond of the sport.

The Realme Band has a capacitive button below to the screen which when tapped takes you through different sports modes. You just need to keep on tapping until the Band cycles you through your desired mode. Once you find your mode, for instance, the cricket mode, you need to tap and hold the button for a bit and on the countdown of three, the mode will get activated for you to track. The Band will track heart rate as well as the calories being burned while playing cricket.

The Realme Band will come with a built-in USB Direct Charge port that allows users to just plug it into an adapter to charge. You just have to pull the silicon bands off the display and connect it directly to a port to get it charged. This way you would not need to carry any extra cable. The Band will also have IP68 water resistance certification and come with a USB-A connector.

The Realme Band will also show calls, reminders, texts, and SMS messages. The device will come in four color options – Yellow, Olive, Green, and Black color options.

The Realme Band has a colored screen and overall it looks nice. It has a sleek design with a silicon band to tie on your wrist.
