Unreleased Google Pixel Buds 2 listed again for pre-orders but with no availability details

06 April 2020 0

Google Pixel Buds 2 has once again been spotted and this time it is found on Abt, a Chicago-based e-store for electronics. Although the listing mentions it as “New Item Available for Pre-Ordering,” it is not hard to guess the spotted accessory is a new product from Google. It is listed with the $179 price tag but no shipping date is mentioned.

The listing shows the Pixel Buds 2 will come in four different color options – Clearly White, Oh So Orange, Almost Black, and Quite Mint. Interestingly, there is one more store listing from New Jersey retailer Buydig. There are a few known features of these upcoming Galaxy Buds as well.

The new Made by Google headphones feature custom-designed 12mm dynamic speaker drivers and “Adaptive Sound” to adjust volume based on the surrounding environment. It has a touch-sensitive surface and using it users can play and pause music.

There are two microphones for sound suppression. Also, Google added a “spatial vent” that “reduces that plugged-ear feeling.”

Time to time, Google Pixel Buds 2 has made appearances on the internet. It passed through the Bluetooth SIG in January and later on, some store listings appeared as well. It is unknown when the new earbuds will be available for purchase. Last October, Google said the Buds may get shipped in Spring at the Google Store and other large retailers.
