Realme Band is receiving another software update that brings two of the commonly requested features. It is version 8 which has been released after version 6 update that arrived in April. The two major features include Music Control and Stopwatch. It is further packed with usual bug fixes and performance improvements.
Both these newly added features are self-explanatory. Music Control provides quick music playback controls so that users can perform actions like play/pause and skip to the next song directly from the smartwatch. It eliminates the need for taking out the smartphone every time. Next up, Stopwatch is useful for anyone who wants to keep a check on a specific time duration.
The update notification mentions that the whole installation process is divided into three stages. It says that 10 minutes should be enough for it to get completed. For the uninitiated ones, the Realme Band update can be checked and installed using the Realme Link app. It is a companion app that can be installed for free through Google Play Store.
Once the app has been installed, launch the app and complete the Realme Band pairing process. It will then show the band in the list of connected devices. While update notification should appear automatically, one can also look for it manually by visiting the settings page.
