25 June 2020 0

Realme has launched its third pair of truly wireless earphones in India. These are called Realme Buds Q and will be sold alongside the already available Buds Air and Buds Air Neo. One of the major differences between these variants is the product design as these do no follow Apple AirPods footsteps. The team has opted for a design that resembles Samsung's Galaxy Buds.

The Realme Buds Q are claimed to offer up to 20 hours of "non-stop music" playback on a single charge and with the help of charging case. One of the key highlights of the new earbuds is that these have been designed by Jose Levy, a French designer. It is further claimed to offer a "Super Low Latency Gaming" mode with 119 milliseconds of latency.

There is support for touch controls that will allow users to control music playback and receive/reject calls. These are packed with a 10mm boost audio driver with Realme's Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) solution. These are lightweight with weight less than 3.6 grams that should allow users to keep wearing them for a longer period of time.

The Realme Buds Q is powered by a 40mAh battery but the charging case has a 400mAh battery. These come with Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity and seamless pairing. There is also IPX4 water resistance certification. Realme has priced the Buds Q at Rs. 1,999 which makes them one of the affordable truly wireless earphones in the country. They are available in Quite Yellow, Quite Black, and Quite White color options with sales starting July 1st.
