Nokia Power Earbuds Lite may come with Bluetooth 5.1 at IFA 2020

01 September 2020 0

Nokia appears to be prepping to launch one more truly wireless earbuds pair as the one has received Bluetooth SIG. The certification document shows the Product Name as Power Earbuds Lite and model number as BH-405.

These earbuds have upgraded Bluetooth 5.1 connection, which means lower power consumption. This could mean the Power Earbuds Lite could offer better battery life than the original Nokia Power Earbuds. The term “Lite” in the name, however, suggests a lighter model to the standard model of the Nokia Power Earbuds, but it does not appear to be the case.

A hazy image of the Earbuds Lite can also be seen and it shows no major change is coming. It is expected that the new earbuds will retain some of the features like the IPX7 rating. These earbuds are shown in White and we expect them to see in different colors as well.

The original Nokia Power Earbuds were launched back in February 2020. It features a 50mAh battery, a 6mm graphene driver unit for audio output. It has a button to summon Google Assistant. It came with an IPX7 rating.

HMD Global is expected to attend the upcoming IFA 2020 event with a range of its new mid-range and entry-level phones. It is expected that Earbuds Lite will be the part of this announcement as well. IFA is scheduled to commence on September 3, which means two days from now and everything will be disclosed. Let’s see what HMD Global announces at the event.
