Xiaomi Mi Watch Color that went official last year is joined by a new model called the Mi Watch Color Sports Edition. It features a round dial with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display. It features 120 watch faces to let you customize the look as per your choice. It comes with 117 sports modes, including running, treadmill, cycling, swimming, trekking, skipping, and many more.
One more highlight of the Mi Watch Color Sports Edition is the SpO2 sensor to measure blood oxygen. It also has 24-hour heart rate monitoring, PPG sensor, stress monitoring, sleep monitoring, and breathing training feature.
The Mi Watch Color Sports Edition is 5ATM rated, which means it is water-resistant to up to 50 meters in depth for 10 minutes. So, it is suitable for some shallow-water activities, including swimming.
The battery capacity of the Mi Watch Color Sports Edtion is 420mAh and according to the company’s claims, it can last for about 15 days with typical usage. The battery life can be extended further with the help of the built-in battery saving mode. According to Xiaomi, when this mode is On, it can extend life to 22 days.
The Mi Watch Color Sports Edition works with devices running Android 4.4, iOS 10.0, and up. Xiaomi lets you choose from six different colored TPU bands with the smartwatch.
The Mi Watch Color gets a GPS chip to track movements as well and it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC for connectivity.
The price of the Mi Watch Color Sports Edition is CNY 699 (~$104) and it comes in Elegant Black, Space Blue, and Ivory color options. The pre-orders of the Mi Watch Color Sports Edition in China will start from October 21. It is unknown whether the watch will come to other markets outside China.
