LG has officially launched its newest truly wireless earphones named LG Tone Free HBS-FN7. These are the third such release of the year as they join existing HBS-FN4 and HBS-FN6 models. The major highlights of the newly released TWS include support for active noise cancellation (ANC) and LG's UVnano technology for sanitizing the charging case.
The Tone Free HBS-FN7 earphones are packed with a three-microphone system in each of the buds. It allows the earphones to listen to external sounds from multiple directions and cancel them out. This results in the user listening only to the sound of the content getting played through the earphones. It is also beneficial for times when using them for attending phone calls or video calls.
LG has teamed up with British audio brand Meridian Audio for auto-tuning the earbuds. It says that the buds will offer "clear and spatial sound" that will be premium. It features a custom-built driver for helping users enjoy Meridian audio tuning at its best. There are four audio presets Immersive, Natural, Bass Boost, and Treble Boost to help users get started. There is an IPX4 rating for protection from rain and sweat.
The Tone Free earbuds are claimed to last for up to six hours on a single charge but with the charging case, you can get an additional 12 hours. These are further said to offer about 1 hour of playback with just 5 minutes of charging. There is also support for wireless charging. Lastly, the charging case is compatible with LG's UVnano technology that is claimed to kill 99.9% of bacteria from the earbuds mesh while charging.
The LG Tone Free HBS-FN6 is available for $149.99 in the United States and KRW 219,000 in South Korea. It can be purchased in Black and White color variants. It is expected to arrive in other key markets of the world in the coming months.
