Xiaomi may be gearing up to launch a new smartwatch called the Mi Watch Lite. This is apparent from a listing spotted on FCC. The listing includes an image as well that shows how the upcoming looks like. Also, the specifications of the smartwatch are available in plain sight, leaving nothing to the mystery.
According to what is available on FCC, the Mi Watch Lite will have a 1.4-inch color touchscreen. It has a built-in GPS, multiple fitness modes, and 24-hour Heart Rate Monitoring, a few things that have become a staple in a smartwatch cum fitness tracker. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters and has a special swimming mode recognition as well.
Also, the Mi Watch Lite has a 230mAh battery and it is compatible with the phones running Android 4.4 and iOS 10 or above. The listing has also highlighted that the watch has model number REDMIWT02. The Mi Watch Lite will feature Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity.
Going by the render spotted inside the FCC listing, the Mi Watch Lite appears to have a silicone strap with a traditional clasp. It has a rectangular dial just like the MIUI-powered Mi Watch from last year.
It is currently unknown when Xiaomi decides to bring this smartwatch to the market. However, its appearance on FCC is a good hint at an imminent launch. Let’s see at what price Xiaomi will launch this new smartwatch.
