Earlier this month, Apple debuted its custom-made M1 processor with the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. These new notebooks are powered by a new chip but look exactly the same as their predecessor. If you are thinking of holding on to your old notebook until there is a design refresh, this new report should excite you.
Ming-Chi Kuo, a renowned market research analyst, has claimed that Apple will unveil redesigned MacBook Pro models in the second half of 2021. The information about the display size options that will get a design makeover has not been mentioned. A previous report did claim that 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will be the one undergoing a visual overhaul.
The choice of processor will undoubtedly be Apple's own M1 silicone. Apple's offering is already providing to be a lot better on MacBooks than Intel's chips. The performance should only get better with each new version that Apple will release in the future. The details about what kind of design changes will be there are unknown for now.
Apple is further tipped to a new and redesigned Apple Watch next year. He said that the new wearable will have an improved form factor and improved health management features. This is pretty much what Kuo has revealed about the watch but we should hear more from him as time will pass.
