Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has pit stopped at a number of certifications already. And now, it has gained one more certification that indicates the distance between us and its launch might actually be just a month away.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro bearing the same model number SM-R190 has now visited FCC. The listing reveals the Buds Pro's carrying case has a 500mAh battery. There is nothing else that we can glean from the certification but an FCC listing is a clear sign that Galaxy Buds Pro can enter the US market. We expect to hear more about the same as we go nearer to its said launch that is in January.

There have been reports circulating over the internet that a new pair of truly wireless earbuds from Samsung is in the works and it could launch alongside the Galaxy S21. Interestingly, now a number of certifications that these wireless earphones have passed through back all those reports and even reveal the name of the same.
Spotted first on the Korean NRRA certification website with the model number SM-R190 and later on the Indonesian Telecom website as well, the moniker of the alleged Galaxy earbuds came out. The latter certification confirms next truly wireless earbuds by Samsung are called ‘Galaxy Buds Pro.’ The certification listing eases out all those reports that speculated the name to be “Galaxy Buds Beyond.”
Well, apart from the name, these certifications have revealed nothing else, but this is one of the biggest fundamentals for any report coming after it.
Previously, the Chinese 3C certification website revealed the company’s TWS would possibly feature a 472mAh battery capacity. Also, a very recent report from SamMobile revealed the next TWS earphones from Samsung will follow the same in-ear design as featured in the Galaxy Buds+ and not the bean-shaped design introduced with the Galaxy Buds Live. These new TWS earphones are also speculated to offer Active Noise Cancelation.
This is plenty of information to stick to, at least, for now. We may hear more about them as we move further. Its existence of so many certifications is a great sign that the launch is pretty imminent. These alleged TWS earphones are expected to go official alongside the Galaxy S21 in January 2021.
