As we are going closer to the Unpacked event set by Samsung, more and more leaks are coming out our way. They are not spewing out any new details and but it is good to stay in the loop until we reach the launch day.
Now, a hands-on video on the Galaxy Buds Pro has surfaced, courtesy of the YouTuber Digital Slang.
The YouTuber said he obtained the unannounced earbuds via a seller on Facebook and he is presenting just the first impressions on them because he had them just for 24 hours. The retail box shows the Galaxy Buds Pro have ANC and they are IPX7 rated, something previous leak revealed as well. The hands-on video makes it evident that whatever we reported via major leaks in the past is actually true. The Galaxy Buds Pro are featuring the in-ear design and not the bean-shaped design that debuted with the Buds Live.
The battery life with and without a case is the same as covered in the original report provided below. The YouTuber also gives a quick comparison between the Galaxy Buds+ and the Buds Pro in the video. He shows the new Buds Pro has a smaller size. You can watch the complete video that is over 15 minutes from the link embedded here.

Till now, we have reported so many leaks on Samsung’s alleged Galaxy Buds Pro and now a new leak has surfaced that brings out loads of information. The leakster @_h0x0d_ (WalkingCat) on Twitter has shared two images that actually look some sort of presentation slides. It appears the leakster was managed to obtain these official presentation slides somehow so as to enlighten us about the upcoming TWS from Samsung.
The first image shows the Galaxy Buds Pro has an 11mm woofer and 6.5mm tweeter. Also, this TWS has “Intelligent Active Noise Control,” which means the noise cancellation is adjustable and will include Ambient sound a Conversation mode as well. The image reiterates the previous leak that stated the Galaxy Buds Pro will support Spatial Audio for a theatre-like surround sound experience.
The image also shows the Buds Pro is IPX7 protected, which means they have better protection against water and dust. It can withstand if submerged up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes.
The next image shows a comparison chart where Samsung’s all three earbuds – Buds+, Buds Live, and Buds Pro are featured. The gist of this chart is to show how the new Galaxy Buds Pro is different from the other existing TWS from Samsung. The standout features have already been discussed and the chart just features that. Apart from this, the comparison chart shows there will be a 2-way speaker, which is also found on the original Buds+. Furthermore, the Buds Pro also features Bixby support similar to the Buds live.
Also, the Buds Pro is rated to deliver 8h of playtime and 28h with the case. Here, the Buds+ still reign over the newcomer in single-charge time with 11 hours over their 8-hour music playtime. This means talk time on the Galaxy Buds Pro fall slightly behind its predecessors.
Last and the most crucial detail this comparison chart shows is the price tag. The new Galaxy Buds Pro is tagged at a $199 price compared to $169 priced Buds Live and $149 Buds+.
The Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to launch on January 14th, alongside the Galaxy S21.
