Amazfit, a sub-brand under the parent company Huami has launched two new smartwatches at CES 2021. These new additions to the lineup are GTR 2e and GTS 2e smartwatches.

Amazfit GTR 2e

The Amazfit GTR 2e is thin and features a bezel-less design. It sports a 2.5D curved glass, has an aluminum alloy body and glass vacuum coating. The smartwatch features a 1.39-inch always-on AMOLED HD display and Amazfit touts that the curved glass offers a better visual aesthetic and a wider field of vision. The always-on display shows the time even when the watch’s other features are inactive.

You have the option to style your watch from the available 50+ styles of watch faces. There are also 40+ Always-on Displays available to match your watch face designs.

Amazfit GTR 2e does 24-hour heart rate monitoring, with the help of an in-house developed BioTracker. The sensor covers heart rate zones, keeping you aware of the exercise effect, and provides you warnings whenever required. The smartwatch measures blood-oxygen levels as well when you are engaged in some strenuous work like high-intensity outdoor sports, marathons, long-term mental work, and so on. It also does sleep quality monitoring and determines if you had slept well or taking adequate sleep.

Amazfit GTR 2e also does stress level monitoring that checks for your personal stress level – relaxed, normal, medium, or high. It is also 5ATM, which means it is water-resistance up to 50-meters. It has 90 built-in sports modes. Just activate one of the sports modes that you need, and after the exercise is over, the watch will produce an analytical report that you can view in the mobile app.

With the help of PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence), you can take note of your health data and assess it. The smartwatch also offers quick access to key information. Just swipe left for intelligence and right to access shortcut cards function to look into weather, music, and more.

Amazfit compares the new GTR 2e with the GTR 2 and points out that the latest watch offers more battery life. It can last for 24 days in typical use and 45 days with basic use. Although both of them have the same battery capacity 471mAh.

Amazfit GTR 2e comes in State Grey, Obsidian Black, and Matcha Green color options. It is priced at $139. You can buy it directly from the official site.

Amazfit GTS 2e

Amazfit GTS 2e, on the other hand, features a rectangular watch that is 1.65-inch in size and has an AMOLED display type. It is also thin and features the same design elements that Amazfit has used for its GTR 2e smartwatch. Just like the GTR 2e, the new GTS 2e features a 2.5D curved glass. It also does heart-rate, blood-oxygen, and sleep quality monitoring as well. You can also get your reports using PAI Health Assessment System. It is also 5ATM rated and has 90 built-in exercise modes. The Amazfit is rated to offer 14 days of battery life.

Amazfit GTS 2e comes in Lilac Purple, Moss Green, and Obsidian Black color options. It is also priced at $139. You can purchase it directly from the official website.
