Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro first update adds hearing enhancement feature

Samsung launched its new Galaxy S21 series and other devices, including the Galaxy Buds Pro TWS earbuds and Galaxy SmartTag. Well, none of these products have made their way into the hands of the consumers but Samsung has started rolling out the first update for one of them.

The first update of the Galaxy Buds Pro has been reported by @SamsungRydah on Twitter. He has shared the screenshot as well that reveals what new features and enhancements this update brings. As apparent from the screenshot and the changelog, the first update to the Galaxy Buds Pro implements a hearing enhancement feature. It also improves Bixby's voice wake-up response, and improved system stability and reliability.

Together with these improvements, the new update also brings left/right sound balance adjustment. This enhancement could prove to be helpful for users with different levels of hearing loss in each ear. As pointed out by XDA Developers, the feature may work alongside the Adapt Sound feature in One UI and provide a better audio experience. The version of the Galaxy Buds Pro update is R190XXU0AUA1 and it weighs 2.20MB.

You have to connect to both your earbuds in order to update the software. Also, you will not be able to use your earbuds while installing the update.
