Realme Watch 2 has been spotted on FCC listing, revealing all the details about itself. The listing and the user manual spotted on FCC reveals the design of the upcoming smartwatch as well. It looks pretty identical to the Realme Watch that went official in India.
The FCC listing shows the model number of the Realme Watch 2 is RMW2008. The user manual included in the listing reveals all the key specifications and other features you may want to learn. The Realme Watch 2 has a 1.4-inch TFT display with a 320x320 pixels resolution. It supports Bluetooth v5.0 and has a 305mAh battery capacity. This indicates the successor is coming with better battery life as it has a bigger battery capacity than the predecessor that was introduced only with a 160mAh battery.
Diving further into the details, the listed dimensions reveal the upcoming Realme Watch 2 is slightly taller and even thicker than the Realme Watch that measures 256x36.5x11.8mm. The list of specifications further reveals the Realme Watch 2 is IP68 certified, which makes it water and dust resistant to some extent. It can be paired with phones running Android 5.0 and above.
In the user manual, Realme has defined its Watch 2 as an “ultra-thin and lightweight smart fitness watch with a long-lasting battery life.” In the overview, Realme clearly mentions the watch is capable of measuring your blood oxygen levels. It can track your heart rate, sleep, and workout activities. It has a color display and features silicon straps.
There is a mention on the charging as well that reveals Realme has bundled a 2.5W charging support, similar to Realme Watch.
Almost every minute detail of the Realme Watch 2 is out, thanks to FCC documents uploaded on January 21, this year. But a couple of other details like pricing and availability are still unknown. Appearance on FCC indicates the launch is pretty imminent. Let’s see when that can happen. For comparison, the Realme Watch launched in India in May last year for Rs. 3,999. The successor is expected to be priced around the same price tag, though.
