OnePlus has confirmed the development of its first smartwatch about a couple of times already. So, this shouldn’t come as a surprise in case you get to hear anything around this speculative smartwatch. However, things start appearing more interesting when we learn more and more about any unannounced project. The same is the case with the much-talked-about OnePlus Watch.
As spotted first by TechnikNews, a patent filing at the German Patent and Trademark reflects what the smartwatch could look like. The sketches shown in the patent suggest OnePlus has submitted two different designs. But before you believe in them, note that it is not necessary that the first smartwatch will possess one of these designs. It is very possible that OnePlus has filed them for future use. Also, the patent filings do not always represent the finished design. The manufacturer can bring changes to it while keeping the crux the same.
Both the designs show the clock in the OnePlus smartwatch is round, something one of the top insiders Max Jambor has shared as well. There are side buttons on one side, which you will use to navigate the menus. There are no buttons on the other side. The back of the round clock houses four sensors, probably to measure blood pressure. There are two pins as well with the help of which the smartwatch will get charged. Overall, this version of the smartwatch looks like a “Sport” version.
The second design shows a modified bracelet and looks more like any other conventional smartwatch.
Currently, the details of the OnePlus Watch are still under the wraps. And, this makes us more curious to know more about the smartwatch. Recently, the smartwatch reportedly spotted on a couple certifications - BIS and IMDA. The certifications revealed the smartwatch may bear two model numbers - W501GB and W301GB. The two variants are suspected to be Wi-Fi and LTE models.
