Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch the third-generation of AirPods in the first of this year. A couple of speculations in the past have suggested what could be coming and now its alleged renders have leaked. Courtesy of 52audio, we are seeing the AirPods 3 in all its glory. The shared images appear as the live images of the product, revealing most of the things about it.
The leaked images are apparently in line with the previous rumors, suggesting the AirPods 3 is going to have a shorter stem and will come with support for replaceable ear tips. This means the AirPods 3 may look similar to the AirPods Pro.
The charging case looks similar to that of AirPods Pro as well. The case is rectangular in shape but it looks small and there is a charging light on the front of the case as well.
The report from 52audio also claims that the next-generation AirPods may feature support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Another feature that AirPods 3 might be borrowing from the AirPods Pro is the pressure-relieving system, the same technology featured in the AirPods Pro. This system equalizes the pressure within the ear for a perfect fit and removes discomfort in case of a prolonged period of time.
AirPods 3 may also feature touch controls for the quick launch of certain actions. A report came in October by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg revealed a lot of things about the next-gen AirPods, including a possible launch timeframe. The report believes that Apple could launch the AirPods 3 at the start of the next month, but as per Mark Gurman, Apple has no such event planned for the speculated March 16. Previously, Jon Prosser, another well-known insider with an overall good record claimed that Apple may hold an event on March.
Well, said the event is still at a distance from us. So, let’s wait and see what Apple has planned for its upcoming products.
