The Apple Watch has received numerous noteworthy features in the past few years but things have remained unchanged in terms of design. This is now tipped to change with the next-gen Apple Watch Series 7. The leak is coming from none other than Jon Prosser who recently also shared details about the Pixel 6 series and Android 12.
The leaked renders show that Apple is set to go for a major Apple Watch redesign this year. The alleged Apple Watch Series 7 is shown with a flat-edged design. This is similar to what we saw with the latest iPhone 12 lineup and the new iPad Air. It will undoubtedly be an easily noticeable design change as all previous models come with rounded/curved corners.
Apple is further said to be experimenting with new Apple Watch colors. One of these colors is said to be Green which has been shown in leaked renders as well. The important to note is that new colors are only in an experimental stage. It is hard to say whether Apple will actually make it available in the market.
The next-gen Apple Watch is already speculated to feature a blood glucose monitor. It will be monitoring the user's blood through infrared light. This will make it one of the first smartwatches to offer this particular functionality.
