Nothing has made the name of its first product official already. It is called Ear (1) but the details of its first product are still under the wraps. We do understand it since it is the company’s first-ever product and it would want to create all the buzz without revealing bigger details.
So far, we only know Ear (1) is headphones and its launch is delayed to happen a “bit later this summer” because there are still “a few things left to finalize.”
Well, now a new detail has surfaced that talks about the Indian launch of Nothing Ear (1). According to a tweet by Megha Vishwanath, Communications Lead at Nothing India, the first headphones from the company will be sold at Flipkart, leading e-commerce in India.
Manu Sharma, VP and GM at Nothing India also added,
For the upcoming launch of ear (1), we are excited to partner with Flipkart as we mark Nothing’s entry in India. Flipkart’s pan-India supply chain will be instrumental in reaching Nothing customers and delivering a superior end-to-end product experience, which is very important to us.
A partnership with Flipkart indicates Nothing will also sell its upcoming products exclusively via the same online platform. The company also confirmed that the Ear 1 will be offered at no-cost EMI.
The announcement comes days after Nothing announced the availability of its Ear (1) headphones at Smartech Selfridges for consumers in the UK.
In her tweet, she also confirmed that the India launch of Nothing Ear (1) will happen alongside the global launch.
Currently, it is unknown when Nothing will make the headphones available for purchase in the respective countries. We believe the company will reveal more details as we go nearer to the launch date. Also, it is possible that the company finally reveals the exact launch details of its first product as tech enthusiasts are eager to know about the product which is built under the expertise of Carl Pei, OnePlus’ ex co-founder.
