Honor has launched new affordable truly wireless earphones (TWS) named Earbuds 2 Lite. These are packed with a number of handful features like active noise cancellation (ANC), long-lasting battery life, and various listening modes. The best part is that it is the pricing that makes these new buds worth consideration.
The Earbuds 2 Lite is packed with a 10mm sound driver and polymer composite diaphragm. These are said to deliver good quality sound with a focus on "clear, showing rich musical details". The buds have microphones for offering active noise cancellation so that you do not have to worry about noise from the outside the world. There is also an Awareness Mode to help users listen to the ambient sound and for in-person conversations without the need for taking off the buds.
The buds are powered by AI neural network algorithms that help with noise reduction during phone calls. It is said to be capable of reducing the influence of wind noise and intelligently identify and effectively picking up the human voice. If you happen to have an Honor phone, there is support for a quick pairing feature so that buds connect with the phone right when you open the case.
The buds support various touch-based gestures for quick controls. These include pressing twice for answering/disconnecting phone calls, pressing twice for playing/pausing music, and pressing for a short time to switch modes. There is an auto-pause and playback feature for music when you take out and put in one of the earbuds.
Honor is claiming that Earbuds 2 Lite can last for up to 32 hours including the charging capacity of the case. The music playback support is for up to 10 hours on a single charge. And if you ever find the buds running low on charge, these can offer up to 4 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging time.
The Earbuds 2 Lite are priced at EUR 70 with sales going live from August 7th. These will be available in Glacier White and Midnight Black color options.
