Realme's second-generation fitness band Realme Band 2 is now official in Malaysia. It is a direct successor to the original Realme Band launched earlier last year. The major differences between the two generations include a bigger display, a bigger battery, and support for more sports modes.
The Realme Band 2 sports a 1.4-inch color display with 167 x 320 pixels resolution. The peak brightness of the panel is 500 nits that should be good enough for outdoor usage. If you are someone who likes to personalize the look of the band, there are 50 different watch faces to come from as well as support for using custom photos.
The fitness band supports 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep quality tracking, and 90 different sports modes. Some of these modes include yoga, outdoor walk, outdoor cycling, indoor running, cricket, basketball, swimming, elliptical, football, free training, and spinning. It should be noted all of the 90 modes will be added via an over-the-air update.
Realme claims that Band 2 can last for up to two weeks (standby) on a single charge through the 204mAh battery. It can be paired with both Android and iOS smartphones. It has been priced at RM169 i.e. about $40 with only the Space Grey color option.
