Together with the new Civi smartphone, Xiaomi also took the wraps off a new smartwatch called the Watch Color 2. As the name implies, it is the successor to the Watch Color smartwatch that went official last year in January.
The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 continues to have a circular shape but the display is slightly larger than the predecessor, with a 1.43-inch size. It has an AMOLED display type and has 326 ppi pixel density. The watch still runs a proprietary OS and features 200 watch faces. It also supports third-party apps.
The Watch Color 2 smartwatch from Xiaomi is water-resistant up to 5 ATM, meaning you can take it swimming. It supports 117 sports tracking modes, 19 of which are labeled “professional” sports modes. There are also over 200 customizable watch faces offered.
The watch also includes blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) tracking, heart rate measurement, stress monitoring, and sleep tracking. Some other notable health monitoring features include menstrual cycle tracking, breathing guides, and more.
The wearable houses a 470mAh battery that is claimed to last for up to 12 hours on a single charge.
The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 comes in three color options and six strap colors (black, blue, white, green, yellow, and orange).
The price of the Watch Color 2 is priced at CNY 999 ($154) in China. It is up for pre-orders on the company site and the wearable will go on sale starting September 30. Early buyers can also avail CNY 100 discount ($15).
