Huawei has launched the Watch Fit Mini, a new wearable in its Watch Fit series. The company isn’t touting it to be the mini version of the Watch Fit that it launched back in August 2020, because the wearable is not really a slimmed-down version. In fact, it retains the main features found in the standard Watch Fit fitness smartwatch.
The all-new Huawei Watch Fit mini continues to sport SpO2 blood oxygen saturation among other notable health and fitness monitoring sensors. It can also keep the track of menstrual cycle, stress, and sleep.
One evident difference between the Watch Fit and the Watch Fit Mini is that the latter gets a slightly smaller display size. Precisely, the mini version gets the 1.47-inch, while the standard one stays at 1.64-inch. Both of them, however, feature the AMOLED display.
Also, the Mini version continues to feature a rectangular shape than a circular one. The Huawei Watch Fit Mini gets a dial-shaped button on the right side.
Doing double duty as a fitness brand as well, the Watch Fit Mini is capable of supporting up to 96 sports modes, including walking, cycling, rowing, archery, skiing, swimming, ball sports, and more. It also gives you over 200 suggestions for improving sleep for 6 major sleep problems.
The Watch Fit Mini can connect to a smartphone running Android 6.0 or iOS 9.0 and above via Bluetooth v5. It can double as a remote shutter, music controller, and get notifications for calls with the option to send instant replies while rejecting a call.
The Watch Fit Mini promises up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge from its 180mAh battery. The watch is also water-resistant up to 5ATM (50 meters).
The price of the Huawei Watch Fit Mini is EUR 99 (~$115). It is listed on Amazon’s Germany website already and but unavailable at the moment. The Watch Fit mini comes in Frosty White, Mocha Brown, and Taro Purple color options.
