Fossil launches Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatch with SpO2 sensor, Alexa support

27 June 2022 1

Fossil has launched a new smartwatch named Gen 6 Hybrid. It is part of the Gen 6 lineup where the standard model launched about a year ago. It brings a couple of new features that make the new iteration worth consideration. In terms of design, it is a lot similar to other models in the series and thus follows the signature approach.

The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid will be available in two designs Machine and Stella. The Machine design features a textured bezel and is available in 45mm size. You will be able to grab this model in Smoke, Silver, and Black color options. As for the Stella, it is available in 40.5mm size and has a bling ring on the dial. It will be sold in Rose Gold, Silver, and Two-Tone color options.

In terms of features, the Hybrid model comes with a SpO2 sensor that will help users measure the oxygen level in blood with ease. It has Alexa integration for voice-powered digital assistance. It will let users get different things done by simply using voice commands as it happens with Echo devices.

Fossil has priced the Gen 6 Hybrid at $229 for the starting model. It is already available for purchase via Fossil's own website and a number of online and offline retail partners.
