Oppo has officially confirmed that its next smartwatch Oppo Watch 3 will launch on August 10th. The launch event will take place in China and then maybe, we will get to see it expand to other markets. It will be the first smartwatch to feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable chipset that went official a few days ago.
The launch poster for the Oppo Watch 3 does not reveal much due to obvious reasons. It simply teases the slightly curved display panel along with the physical rotating crown on the right side. This is a significant addition as it is not available on the Oppo Watch 2. Some of the rumors have suggested that will have a high screen-to-body ratio, standard ECG, and an LTPO display.
Evan Blass aka @evleaks, a well-known tipster, has also shared Oppo Watch 3 renders as well as real-life images. The smartwatch has a design that you can easily be forgiven for mistaking for an Apple Watch. It is shown in a leather strap and a silicon-style strap. One can also see a couple of watch faces in these leaked images.
The Oppo Watch 3 is turning out to be a smartwatch worth giving attention to. The launch event is just a few days away and we will not have to wait too long for all the details. We will keep you updated if any new developments will take place in the time being.
