Physical rotating bezels used to be one of the unique Samsung Galaxy Watch features until last year. The company decided to ditch the same and replace it with a digital bezel on the Galaxy Watch 5 series. This obviously left fans disappointed but as per a new leak, the company is ready to come back with the rotating bezel this year.
As per a Korean tipster @SuperRoader, Samsung is ready to launch the next-gen smartwatch family with a rotating bezel. The only thing to remember is that only the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will get the physical rotating bezel. It means if you will go with the vanilla Galaxy Watch 6, you will have to continue with the digital alternative.
The Pro model is essentially the same as the vanilla variant but has a bigger battery and a few additional features. These extra features are aimed at users who are more active than the average user. The leak further claims Samsung will release Galaxy Watch 6 Pro in two size options this year. The current-gen Watch 5 Pro comes in a single 45mm size which is not ideal for all users.
The tipster did not offer any details about Galaxy Watch 6 series launch. It is speculated that we may see the new smartwatches during the second half of the year. It will most likely be around the time Samsung will debut next-gen foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
