23 December 2019 0

Honor unveiled new MagicBook 15 models last month alongside the Honor V30 smartphone series unveiling. Those models were powered by AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 processors but if you were waiting for Intel variants, your wait is now over. All-new Honor MagicBook 15 models with 10th generation Intel processors have now been made official.

Honor has offered options to choose between the Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor. There are a total of four variants that differ in the hardware configuration including the choice of processor, RAM, and onboard storage. All the variants come with the same NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU with 2GB of DDR5 VRAM.

Here are all the variants with specific configurations:

  • Intel Core i5-1021U with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for CNY 4,899 (about $699)
  • Intel Core i5-1021U with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage for CNY 5,199 (about $742)
  • Intel Core i5-1021U with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for CNY 5,199 (about $785)
  • Intel Core i7-1021U with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for CNY 5,899 (about $842)

All other features of Intel Core-powered MagicBook 15 variants are almost the same as the AMD variants. There is a 15.6-inch Full HD+ (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 87% screen-to-body ratio. The display panel also boasts TUV Rheinland Display Certification for providing eye comfort and blue light protection. The whole package is powered by a 42Wh battery with 65W fast charging support. And yes, these come pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home operating system.

In terms of connectivity options, you will get a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. These new HonorBook 15 variants are already up for pre-orders with shipping scheduled for January 2020. All buyers will receive a free Honor Bluetooth mouse and a minimalist Honor backpack with their preorders.
