Acer at its global event in New York launched an array of new products and a super slim laptop Aspire S13 is one of them. It is being said that Acer launched the product to give a fierce competition to MacBook Air and other Windows products like Dell’s XPS 13.

Acer continues to develop its Aspire S range further and Aspire S13 is among the latest. Acer Aspire S13 launched with other products like Acer Switch Alpha 12 which is a fanless 2-in-1 Windows 10 device with 6^th gen Intel chip.

The Ultra-thin Acer Aspire S13 measures 0.57-inches in thickness and weighs only 1.3Kg for the non-touch model. It doesn’t look as premium as its rivals but the detailing and materials used do add a touch of luxury to the laptop. It has a polished aluminium hinge which is embossed and a plastic lid with a ridged texture. It comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display. It is powered by 6^th Gen Intel Skylake processors (anyone from Intel Core i3U or Core i5 or Core i7), up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD. All of the processors have an Intel HD Graphics 5200. Other specs include HDMI, 11ac Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO.

It supports Type-C reversible USB port which can transfer data at up to 5Gbps. It has Dolby Audio which provides perfect and clear sound. The touch model can survive a battery life of up to 13 hours whereas a non-touch model can stay for 11 hours long.

The price of Acer Aspire S13 starts at 699 Euros. The UK price is yet to be confirmed and the availability date is said to be fell in May. It is available in two colors Obsidian Black and Pearl White.
