Acer expanded its Aspire Notebook range and launched a handful of new products. We have already discussed the Aspire S 13, now let's talk about the other Aspire products launched by Acer today. The company also refreshed a few Notebooks by making improvements and adding new capabilities with the help of incorporating new hardware inside them.
The new Aspire R 15 is a convertible notebook which was awarded the Red Dot Award for its excellent blend of design and usability. The top of the laptop is made up of the metal which features a hairline-brushed finish, and the bottom cover is made of 40% glass fiber and silver particles. R 15 is known for its 360-degree versatility and Acer’s patented soft-closing hinge design. It’s so easy to convert between laptop and tablet.
Acer Aspire R 15 features 6th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 12GB DDR4 memory with fast speed and low power consumption, up to NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics and a reversible USB 3.1 Type-C port. It flaunts with 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. It can provide a battery life of up to 9 hours. Like the Aspire S 13, Aspire R 15 also features the Acer’s TrueHarmony and Dolby Audio. This configuration provides the immersive experience to the users. It runs on Windows 10 and features an IPS display.
Acer also launched laptops in its F and E series. Both the series are powered 6th Generation Intel Core processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX950M graphics. They both support USB Type-C port like the super slim Aspire S 13 laptop. Both the Aspire E and F series are powered by Windows 10 and feature Acer ExaColor technology. Like Aspire R 15, the F and E series are also Skype for Business certified which ensures crisp and clear communication.
The new Aspire F series is available in five colors – Sparkly Silver, Obsidian Black, Indigo Blue, Wine Red, and Marble White. Whereas Aspire E series comes in 7 colors Marble White, Steel Grey, Twilight Purple, Red Copper, Obsidian Black, Rococo Red and Indigo Blue. The E series also has a metallic horizontal hairline-brush design with a premium textile pattern.
One of the Notebooks in E series is the Aspire ES 15 which is refreshed with the latest 6th Generation Intel Core processor and comes in three different colors - Midnight Rose, Rosewood Red, and Cotton White. The device also features the same modern textured like its fellows F and E series. However, it has rounded corners and a sleeker profile.
Acer Aspire R 15 will be available in North America in May with prices starting at $699; in EMEA in May with prices starting at €799. Aspire F series will be available in North America in May starting at $499 price; in China at ¥4,499. Acer Aspire E series is the most affordable series among them and will be available in North America from May at $399; in EMEA at €499. China will make them available at ¥2,999.
