Microsoft has given a $100 price cut to the Surface Pro 4 tablet in the US. The company is selling the 128 GB variant of the Surface Pro 4 for $899, down from its usual price of $999. Microsoft is also offering an additional discount of 10% for students and educators on the Surface Pro 4. The deal is available to buyers until January 28, according to the listing.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is powered by 6th Gen Intel Core m3 processor with 128GB SSD and 4GB RAM. It has a 12.3-inch PixelSense touchscreen display and comes with a Surface Pen. Connectivity wise the hybrid laptop supports Bluetooth, USB, and WiFi. Microsoft claims that the device delivers up to 9 hours of video playback. The Surface Pro 4 has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device comes with an integrated ambient light sensor, accelerometer sensor, gyroscope, and magnetometer. It runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system.
Microsoft had announced a price cut of the Surface Pro 4 in the UK last month. The company offered a £75 discount on the entry-level Surface Pro tablet in the UK, making it available to customers for £674.10 for a limited time period.

The deal is still for a pretty long period - still 11 more days. I think enough time for me to consider buying it :D :D
Can you say, if you know, if the extra 10% of concession for students is on the original amount of $999 or on $899???
$100 is a cool cut. It's almost a 10% cut with another 10% for students and educators. Good up for grabs!!!
