Viber for Windows 10 updated with design improvements

23 January 2017 3

Viber has been updating its app for all the platforms, be it Android, iOS, and even the Windows. It brings new features and enhancements with every new update that keeps the app fresh, however, the latest update of Viber for Windows offers much more beyond just the enhancements, because it’s about the design overhaul.

Viber for Windows 10 is updated with design improvements which make the new UI fluid and offers easy access. Here are the new changes grouped together –

  • Changes to the Share UI with new options and improved photo sharing.
  • After Tapping on the share icon in chat windows you will now be able to see six options – to send photo & video; take photo & video; send file (NEW); share contact; send location (NEW); hold & talk.
  • Viber now has a built-in photo picker opening by default when you tap on the share icon.
  • You can attach one or more photos and send at the same time. Currently, you can only attach one photo and send for the PC version.
  • A new sharing menu.

The update has yet to reach a majority of the users, the store still says that the version we are running is up to date, but the update listed is the older one. Viber lovers shouldn’t’ fret as Windows Store first release the update to just a handful of users, collect analytics, determine stability then proceed with the rollout. So, you have to be patient if you aren’t seeing the update yet.

Yeah, I agree with the very first paragraph of the story. There have been lots of enhancements all the time with Viber and it's great to see the same with the Windows platform too.
