Panasonic introduces its first semi-rugged 2-in-1 notebook Toughpad FZ-Q2 at Euroshop 2017 event. It’s a detachable notebook designed for performing outdoor activities, for instance, installers, mechanics, engineers, telecommunications engineers and sales staff to the public. The display is ideal for workers needing to view technical images or data and forms clearly and for those wanting to show high-quality images or presentation to their customers.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q2 can withstand light, outside duties, thanks to the magnesium alloy cabinet casing the device is able to withstand the drops too of up to 76cm. The keyboard of the notebook is slim with 44mm thickness and has lightweight with 1.93Kg. The tablet without keyboard weighs 1.09Kg and is 22mm thick.

The device also comes with a capacitive pen for annotation. It comes with a carry strap that can be used for holding the device in one hand. In addition to this, there’s an optional 360-degree rotating hand strap/
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q2 notebook comes with a standard 3-year warranty and will be available from May 2017 (Windows 7 SKU June 2017), price starting 1.995€ + vat.

For a mid-range tab like this, the option of having 256GB storage is sufficient and seems to be a balancing act by Panasonic.
These days we do see 2-in-1 devices a lot. It's not easy for only tablets or notebooks do perform well in the market. So, this strategy works well.
Yeah, and even the dock is there to hold the tablet. This makes it easier to work with. Moreover, the 8GB RAM looks more than sufficient for this Toughpad.
The looks of the toughpad are smooth and delicate... even if it looks to be a "toughpad"...
The Windows 10 Pro as well as the stylus give it a push for the potential customers. Will purchase it just for these two things :) :)
