01 June 2017 0

Wacom is one of the leading names when it comes to third-party stylus pen makers. It has a pretty diverse product catalog and today, it has announced two newest additions to the family. These include Bamboo Ink and Bamboo Smart which are meant for Windows Ink and iOS platforms respectively.

To start off with Wacom Bamboo Ink, it has been released in collaboration with Microsoft which means you can expect optimal performance while using it with Windows Ink and across Windows 10. It is not only good to use while holding and working on the surface but also offers various features to enhance the productivity. It can be used for taking notes as well as for doodling or any other stylus-related tasks you might want to do. It also features compatibility with apps meant for styluses.

The good thing is that it even allows using the same pen for multiple devices as it comes with Wacom AES protocol support. It has been priced at $75 and is now available via Wacom online store, Microsoft stores, and BestBuy in the United States. As for other retailers, you will have to wait until January 2018 which is quite far away.

Now talking about the Bamboo Smart, it is meant for iOS platform which means for iPads. The company claims that it gives the same feel of using a pen on the paper when used on iPad. It has been designed with the goal of offering the best possible writing and drawing experience to users. It features 2048 level of pressure sensitivity support and also comes with a traveler case. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and is claimed to last for up to 15 hours on the same.

It has been priced at $79.95 in the United States and will go on sale starting this month with no exact date announced yet.
