Chuwi launched the SurBook at the Global Sources Electronics Fair 2017 back in April. The company put their device on the crowdsourcing site Indiegogo in order to raise some fund for the same. Chuwi planned a goal of $30,000 but, surprisingly, the SurBook has already raised $610,000, which is more than 2000% of its goal. At the time of writing, the Chuwi SurBook has raised $617,218 USD by 1641 backers. This is a straight increase of 2057% of $30,000, crowdsourcing goal.
Such a tremendous increase in the backers and hence the funds reflect that more and more people are interested in buying this affordable option of the 2-in-1 tablet which is not only stylish but has also been designed to offer the performance to rival the iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface.
Chuwi is happy to see such a great response of its device and hence has announced a gift in return for all the backers. Chuwi has announced that it will gift a tempered glass protector for the SurBook to all the backers.

For a company like Chuwi setting a goal of $30,000 in itself was a low one. And so the backing it has got far looks far too high.
Whatever be those things, the fact is that Chuwi has gone up to garner such a handsome support is really great.
