Dubbed as Dell Visor, the device is very sleek and comfortable and comes with a flip-up visor for convenient transitions from virtual to real world. The headset is well cushioned and has a face padding which makes its comfortable while wearing. It also features a thumbwheel band adjustment and smart weight balancing that takes pressure off the nose and cheeks. There’s a cable management clip that secures and routes cables to the back of the headband for better freedom of movement. It’s anti-stain coating keeps the headset clean.
There are cameras on the front of the headsets with six degrees of freedom of movement in a three-dimensional space. It provides total control with haptic feedback, thumb stick and buttons fully tracked by sensors in the headset. The headset can scan the surroundings. As a matter of fact, the resolution of 1440 x 1440 should be sufficient to dish out crystal clear images, as pointed out in the story.
Oh so now, Dell has also jumped into the Virtual Reality bandwagon. The design looks a bit different and unique though.
It's not too unique, I feel. But yes, the black accessories look interesting.
