Dell had a bunch of announcements to make at the recently concluded IFA 2017 in Berlin. One of the most interesting ones was the all-new Dell XPS 13 laptop which is powered by Intel's 8th gen quad-core CPU. The company is offering potential buyers the option to choose from an Intel Core i7 or Core i5 processor.

While there is some time before the laptop hits the stores, the MobileScout team was present at the venue during the announcement and got the opportunity to spend some time with the machine. Here are some Dell XPS 13 hands-on images for you to look at and get an idea of how the new laptop looks and feels like in reality.

As for other crucial specifications, the Dell XPS 13 sports a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge touch display with 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution. The company is claiming it to be the smallest laptop of this display size as it is said to 9-15mm thin and weight starting at 2.7lbs. It is capable of offering battery backup up to 22 hours on Full HD usage which Dell is claiming to be the longest for a 13-inch laptop. In terms of memory, it comes in different options with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB HDD. It will go on sale starting September 12th which is next week and starts at $800.
