Xiaomi is a company primarily known for smartphones and its forked Android skin MIUI but it does deal in a wide-range of hardware products including smart TVs. It launched the Mi TV 4A earlier this year and now has taken wraps off another model which has been named Mi TV 4C. The special thing about this new smart TV is that it features only 0.9cm thickness which makes it one of the slimmest smart TVs in the market.
The Mi TV 4C has been announced in two models, one with 43-inch Full HD display and another with a 55-inch 4K HDR display. Other than this, the major difference between the two models is the amount of RAM where the smaller one has 1GB and the bigger one has 2GB. The internal storage offered by both models is same which is 8GB.
Under the hood, Xiaomi has used the quad-core 1.5GHz Amlogic T962 processor with 750MHz Mali 460 GPU. It has eMMC 5.1 flash memory and supports Bluetooth 4.2 and dual-band WiFi. As it is a smart TV, there is also the ability to play media content from external sources like a USB flash drive.
Xiaomi has priced the 43-inch Mi TV 4C at 2099 Yuan (about $317) and the 55-inch model at 3099 Yuan (about $468). There are no words on the availability details yet but we will keep you updated.
