Xiaomi confirms its entry into the Spanish market

30 October 2017 3

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, popular for its Redmi phones has decided to take up a new venture. As a company, they have always been pushing boundaries and attempting to enter new markets. It was only a few years back that Xiaomi operated only in China. It soon made its way to India. Ever since then, Xiaomi has established itself as a well-known brand in the country. To testify to its success, reports claim that the company is the second largest smartphone manufacturer in India. Xiaomi does indeed have bigger plans, like entering into the Western European market.

The Vice President of Xiaomi, Wang Xiang, has announced that the company will be entering Western Europe, Spain in particular. The press event for this fabulous news has been scheduled for the 7th of November in Madrid where the company will also make its first official launch of its products in Western Europe. Who knows what this could mean for the European market, it could very well shake its very foundation as it would go head-to-head with other smartphone manufactures in that market.

One of the main reasons for expansion is definitely to bump up sales and increase revenue. This strategy has certainly worked in India and may work in Spain as well! If you were wondering which products Xiaomi would launch in Spain, that’s still a mystery! What do you think are the products Xiaomi would launch in the Spanish market?
