Xiaomi planning to release new headphones, teases on Twitter

20 February 2018 3

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is well known for tech accessories along with its smartphones. The company designs various accessories such as headphones, fitness trackers etc., however, they are not bundled with any smartphone and users have to purchase them separately. Xiaomi now seems to be working a new set of headphones as the company recently tweeted an image of the same.

Xiaomi had released its Mi headphones back in 2015 for a price of 499 Yuan (roughly $79), so we might expect a new successor to the same. The Mi headphones were made of PU leather and were very comfortable to use. They weighed 240 grams and provided a powerful bass and Hi-Fi music support. Xiaomi’s partner company 1More handles the production of the Mi headphones and the new upcoming ones will also be manufactured by them. As of now, there is no news on pricing or release of the upcoming headphones.

Well yeah right. Xiaomi, doesn't offer earphones bundled like many brands used to do it before. Didn't get one even for the Redmi Note top variant.
