Xiaomi Mi Watch to have replaceable and colorful strap options

31 October 2019 0

Xiaomi has been revealing details of its upcoming Mi smartwatch itself for some days now and the source of the latest information is no different. Xiaomi’s VP, Heng Qu revealed that the company will bring four different strap color options for its wearable. These colors will be Blue, White, Grey, and Black. And, as you would see in the image provided by the company, the buckle is featuring the “Mi” branding as well.

Xiaomi has disclosed many key details of its first-ever smartwatch, including the fact that the strap uses high-quality fluoro rubber which will be anti-allergic, sweatproof, and easily replaceable. A quick-release button will do the work for replacing the straps.

The Mi Watch is confirmed to come with XiaoAI smart assistant support. For reference, Huami’s smartwatches from the Amazfit series feature XiaoAI as well. You can either long-press the crown or access the XiaoAI button from the screen. The assistant can also be invoked by simply the voice, though you will have to raise the wrist to turn on the screen first.

The Mi Smartwatch will come powered by Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor with connectivity options such a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and even an eSIM. The smartwatch will come with an MIUI for Watch OS. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the watch could even run third-party apps.

The Mi Smartwatch will launch alongside the Mi CC9 Pro and Mi TV on November 5. So we are less than a week away from the confirmed launch but the company is unlikely to stop revealing more stuff. So, let’s just continue to learn about them.
