Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE is quite ambitious regarding their efforts in the mobile industry. The company earlier showed interest to launch 5G smartphone by 2019. Back in Mobile World Congress in 2018, the company’s representative shared how ZTE would be releasing a new smartphone with stock Android experience that would target the global smartphone market, though the Chinese variant would still pack the Nubia UI.
Now we know that the much talked about the smartphone is Nubia V18 which ZTE has planned to launch on 22nd March which would be announced in an event that would take place in Beijing. Being priced at $158, it’s clear the smartphone targets low-end smartphone market. Though what’s interesting is how the image released points towards a dual camera setup either on the front or the back side of the phone.
Nubia V18 would not be the only smartphone that would launch in the last few days of March. Other Chinese companies like Meizu is looking forward to introducing E3 midrange on 21st March, Xiaomi to announce Mi Mix 2s while Huawei to announce P20 flagship smartphone series while Vivo would unveil V9.
