ZTE Nubia has announced a new tablet called Nubia Pad 3D, which is claimed to be the world's first 3D AI tablet. It collaborated with Leia Inc., a leading 3D AI developer, for tablet development. The unique thing about the tablet is that it is touted to be the first 3D tablet that does not need glasses to show those visuals.
The Nubia Pad 3D sports a 12.4-inch display with a 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The good thing is the tablet does not only show 3D content but is also capable of converting 2D into 3D content in real-time. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with Adreno 660 GPU. There are multiple storage options up to 256GB along with microSD card support up to 1TB.
The tablet has 16-megapixel dual cameras with LED flash and dual 8-megapixel front cameras. The battery capacity is 9,090mAh with support for 33W fast charging. Other features of the tablet are a USB Type-C port, AI face tracking, and stereo speakers. It also has a dedicated app store for 3D games and educational apps.
ZTE is yet to reveal Nubia Pad 3D AI tablet pricing details. The tablet is said to go on pre-orders starting March 25 but with open sales scheduled for March 11.
